Part of the prestigious Knightsbrook Hotel and Golf Resort complex in the heritage town of Trim, the golf club at Knightsbrook offers patrons a high-class experience representative of the entire property. The course opened in 2005 and was designed by the late great legendary golfer Christy O'Connor, Jr., who used the area's natural terrain and scenery to create a real test of parkland golf. Stretching 7,240 yards from the back tees, Knightsbrook's golf club is marked by demanding water features, wide sprawling fairways and a rolling countryside for which Ireland is so well known. The golf course's par-3 holes are seen at the beginning and then end of the round -- the 190-yard fifth hole requires an entire carry over water. The finishing hole is also a par 3, requiring a full carry over water to a stone-fronted green flanked by bunkers. Golfers will find much reward out of risks they take on the layout. Partake in the River Spa at the hotel, or enjoy a drink and have a meal after a round at one of our restaurants. The clubhouse features full facilities and a well stocked golf shop.
