Kilrush Golf & Sports Club is situated half a mile outside the old heritage town of Kilrush. The club was founded in 1934 as a 9 hole course at that time. The course was extended to 18 holes in 1994. The design of the new holes was undertaken by Dr. Arthur Spring and he seamlessly integrated the old nine into a wonderful 18. Last year we celebrated 25 years of 18 hole golf in Kilrush. The clever use of the natural undulations, combined with trees, water and sand make the course a pleasurable round for the average player, and a good test for the lower handicap players off the back tees. We welcome past and present members, visitors, societies, juniors and diners to our club and restaurant.
