Established in 1973, this mature tree-lined parkland course offers a different challenge from every tee. Unlike many inland courses, at Bryn Meadows no two holes are the same - a testament to the original course designers Brian Mayo and inaugural Golf Professional Craig Defoy. The emphasis is very much on accuracy and tactical course management rather than brute force. The course at Bryn Meadows lends itself particularly well to mixed groups, as well as providing an interesting challenge to golfers of all abilities and handicaps. Bryn Meadows is a 6021 yard par 71 championship course. It has a different challenge from every tee and green making it ‘accuracy to the fore’. The two signature holes are the 13th, a 227 yard par 3 over water, and the 2nd a fantastic par 5 measuring 557 yards with your 3rd shot over water with out of bounds to your right. The team have been shortlisted as 'Golf Hotel of the Year' at the World Golf Awards 2017. The Golf Union of Wales selected us as finalists for ‘Club of the Year’ and ‘Junior Club of the Year’ in 2016, as well as being recognised as a ‘Golf Union of Wales Centre of Excellence’. In May 2016 the First Swing Academy, our junior golfers, were the Welsh Street Golf Champions and the HSBC National UK Street Golf Championship at the beginning of June for the second year running. Our golfers have also been able to boast about Winners Bar & Golf Supplies being voted the ‘Best Welsh Club House’ by Top Golfer Magazine, and 4th in the UK and was also a finalist as ‘Best Bar’ at the Business Growth Awards 2017. One of the biggest achievements of 2018 is being recognised as 'Welsh Club of the Year' from the Golf Union of Wales.
