Braehead offers a very attractive variety of challenging holes for both the low and high handicapper. Several par fours might appear on the card to be very straightforward, however, even the shortest of these can easily extract revenge on the over-confident golfer. Spectacular views can be enjoyed from most parts of the course. The Ochil Hills form a splendid backdrop to the north while the River Forth can be seen meandering in the valley to the south. Nearby to the west is the Abbey Craig and the famous Wallace Monument, with historic Stirling Castle only a mile or two further away.
